4 flights a week to Tahiti and Frequent Flyer Status Match with Air Tahiti Nui

Air Rarotonga is thrilled to announce a major expansion of its Tahiti-Rarotonga service, in partnership with Air Tahiti. Starting June 29, 2025, we're doubling our flights to four times
per week, running through December 28, 2025! This level of connectivity makes exploring the wonders of both Tahiti and the Cook Islands easier than ever.

This development represents the highest frequency of flights ever offered between our two island nations. Air Rarotonga (GZ) and Air Tahiti (VT) will each operate two weekly flights
under a codeshare agreement, creating seamless travel opportunities for our valued passengers.

“This is a leap forward for tourism in the Cook Islands,” said Ewan Smith, Managing Director of Air Rarotonga. “The continued growth of the Tahiti service has fuelled this expansion
since we reopened the borders following the pandemic, allowing us to cater to the growing demand. We're opening doors to discerning travellers from around the globe, particularly
those in the northern hemisphere, eager to discover the unique charm and vibrant culture of our islands.”

This expanded schedule also unlocks enhanced access to the Cook Islands via Air Tahiti Nui’s extensive international network. Connecting through Tahiti opens up a world of
possibilities, linking travellers from France, North America, and beyond, to Rarotonga and Aitutaki.

“The success of the Papeete service to date has provided momentum for this next step in solidifying the route,” said Karla Eggelton, CEO of Cook Islands Tourism. “Our role will be to
support these strengthened airline partnerships and ensure that our promotions and marketing strategies capitalise on these new developments.”

Noeline Mateariki, Director of Destination Marketing at Cook Islands Tourism, highlighted the timeliness of the announcement. “The additional flights align perfectly with our
upcoming promotional activities in key northern markets, including the USA, Canada, the UK, Germany, and Italy,” she said. “Increased flight frequency provides more options for
visitors, making the Cook Islands more accessible and easier to include in travel itineraries. Codeshare partnerships simplify the booking process for both travel agents and customers,
and we are equipping our team with this new information to bring to market.”

The Tahiti-Rarotonga route has been steadily gaining momentum since Air Rarotonga launched its weekly service on August 13, 2022, followed by Air Tahiti’s resumption of its
own weekly flights on June 24, 2023. This remarkable growth has paved the way for this next chapter.

Just ask Les Maisons du Voyage, a Paris-based travel agency specialising in cultural tourism. Following a recent visit to Rarotonga, Aitutaki, and Atiu via this very route, they lauded the
seamless travel experience and the islands’ captivating beauty and rich culture, furthe reinforcing the appeal of a combined Tahiti and Cook Islands itinerary.
