Tex Mex Night
The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa puts an island spin on an old favorite - Tex Mex Night. Enjoy a succulent BBQ array of flame grilled t-bone steaks, fresh gamefish in banana leaves, chili con carne, hot-n-spicy jalapeno chicken drums, spicy cajun chicken, chicken tortilla wraps, rock salt potatoes with mojo sauce, smoked tuna, Mexican 4-bean fiesta salad, and lots more. Save room for the dessert offerings, as our chocolate and brandy mouse, iced coconut pie, baked cheesecake, and rum and banana cake provide the perfect ending. After dinner, work off your meal by placing your bets and cheering for your pick in our hilarious Crab Races. Or, grab the microphone and sing your heart out at Karaoke night.
Island BBQ & Fire Dancer
Another fine example of how The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa wants to share our Cook Islands cuisine, music, dance and culture with you is our amazing Island BBQ and Fire Dance Show. Start your evening off with the many options available at our Island BBQ, including a large array of beef, fish, pork, lamb, and chicken, accompanied by a variety of salads and sides. After dinner, sit back with one our delicious desserts and listen to the Tamariki Manuia Drummers, Dancers & String Band. Prepare to be amazed with a spectacular show of traditional island Fire Dancing. Bring both your camera and enthusiasm.
Legends of Polynesia Night
The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa offers the island's finest and most authentic Island Nights, including the only traditional island night Umu Feast cooked in an earthoven. Grab a cocktail and watch another breathtaking Rarotongan sunset before being invited to witness the ceremonial opening of the Umu earthoven fire pit. The aroma from the steaming, slow-cooked traditional island foods will have you lining up for a feast of island favorites, including Ika Mata (a classic Cook Islands dish of gamefish marinated in coconut milk and lime), Rukau (taro leaves and onion), Puaka (succulent island pork), Poke (banana, arrowroot, and coconut cream pudding), and Kinaki (island staple foods of taro, maniota, and cooked green bananas). Also featured is tender prime beef, lamb, chicken and a wide range of fresh salads. Divine desserts finish off this delectable island feast.
Mongolian BBQ Night
The appeal and selection of Mongolian BBQ awaits you at The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa. Select from an array of fresh New Zealand lamb, prime beef, chicken, and fresh vegetables. Combine these with your choice of sauces, and sit back and watch the Chef cook your meal before your eyes. A hot buffet awaits, including selections such as chicken stir-fry with roasted cashews, chili fried noodles accompanied by Thai beef salad, rice salad with fruits and nuts, and more. During our popular nightclub tour, we will deliver you to all of the islands top nightspots. Brunch & Island Choir
After a relaxed morning by the pool, or a visit to one of the island's moving and spiritual church services, a special Sunday Brunch menu awaits. Select from delectable menu items such as The Rarotongan's local version of Eggs Benedict, fresh Belgian Waffles, Prawn & Gamefish skewers, or our mouth-watering Seafood Mixed Grill. There is no finer way to end your relaxing weekend then The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa's Sunday Carvery Roast Night. The extensive and creative selections include roast leg of lamb served with candied pears and a balsamic jus, roast pork with apple sauce, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, salad buffet, baked potatoes and more.
